The Sea Scallop Association and life long scalloper “Carl” takes us through a day in the commercial bay sea scallop industry off the island of Nantucket, Massachusetts. Working side by side with his son, their daily catch from a healthy fishery can support their family through the winter season.

Ocean Spray Cranberries
The New England cranberry industry is largely a family of co-op farmers, all working together to grow their industry and support their agricultural community. Each fall, the bogs are flooded, and the berries are raked to the surface using farmer modified tractors before heading off to the Ocean Spray factory down the road.
